Enjoy music by Tri-Cities Steel Band at Pine Street Woods

Join East Bonner County Library District and Kaniksu Land Trust for a delightful picnic day at Pine Street Woods while enjoying the vibrant sounds of the touring band OK2Botay, which translates to “okay to dance.” This lively steel drum ensemble is made up of talented youth from grades 6 to 12 in Tri-Cities, Washington. While enjoying the music outdoors in the meadow, you can bring your own picnic to enjoy and use the Library Bookmobile to check out books or sign up for a library card!

Directed by the skilled Mr. Ben Leggett, this remarkable group of young performers is selected through an annual audition process, primarily from students who have participated in classes with the Tri-Cities Steel Band Association. OK2Botay practices weekly and showcases their talents through numerous performances across the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Prepare for an exhilarating musical experience that will inspire you to dance!
