Dan Krabacher

Dan holds advanced degrees in educational psychology and school psychology and most recently served as school psychologist for the Lake Pend Oreille School District in Bonner County, Idaho. He spent 19 years working for the international organization Outward Bound in all aspects of programming and management, and ultimately as Director of Operations on the west coast of the United States. When at Outward Bound, he served on the interagency Lower Deschutes River Management Plan Committee, which developed the plan for Oregon’s Lower Deschutes Wild and Scenic River. Dan has had a lifelong passion for the outdoors and adventure that has taken him to mountains, deserts, and seas throughout North America, the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and South America, often accompanied by his wife and best friend, Cate Huisman.
