Learn about the art of timber framing and welcome the International Timber Framers Guild we join together (pun intended) for a weekend celebrating craft and community. Featuring a variety of demonstrations and speakers, as well as a KidsBuild and tours, TimberFest will be a time to gather and learn from one another - and perhaps engage in some friendly competition!

A few of the presenters for the weekend event will be Dale Brotherton of Takumi Company; Shawn Brigman who will demonstrate the crafting of a traditional sturgeon nose canoe; and Kaniksu Folk School. Attendees can also check in on the 10-day Japanese timber framing workshop led by Kohei Yamamoto and Jon Stollenmeyer (http://somakosha.com) from Okayama City, Japan.
