Learn the basics of carving functional and beautiful wooden spoons. Shaun Deller will teach you how-to source and select the best woods for carving, how to safely use a knife, gouge and/or hook knife, and how to rough out, carve and finish a spoon. This is a beginner carving class. No prior experience required. Carving tools and a kevlar safety glove will be provided as well as a pre-cut spoon blank to work with.
